Family Tradition Treestands – LD14 – Deluxe Ladderstand

We were founded on Ladderstands 26 years ago and they continue to be our most popular line of products to this day.  Our design is simple at it’s core- to be strong you need to weld as much as possible.  These three designs have “Mainframes” that are welded completely solid for strength, and then you bolt the seat onto the stands on the left and center of the picture above.  

We were also the first in the industry to have dual-rails on our ladder sections when we were founded 26 years ago.  Family Tradition is still the only company that uses ultra-strong steel plates (7″ x 1.25″) to bolt one section to the corresponding plate on the next section above it.  When these design features are combined with our Grade 8 Bolts, nylon lock-nuts, and 3,300# breaking strength ratchet straps as standard equipment you can rest assured that each design is the leader in it’s category.

These designs have the added bonus of minimal assembly, our double ladderstand only has 20 nuts & bolts!

• The LD14 Ladder Treestand Seat Height is 12’ 3” off the ground
• When seated in the LD14 the Hunter’s eye level is 14’ 7” off the ground
• The Family Tradition Premium quality nylon webbed seat measures 20” wide by 15” deep, the webbed back measures 23” high
• Standing Platform measures 21.5” wide by 20” deep and is made from expanded metal flooring
• The LD14 features Family Tradition’s Ultra Rigid Double-Rail Ladder Construction, this added strength eliminates the need for a horizontal tree brace and wrap-around tree straps that come standard on our competitor’s ladder stands
